Welcome to Creative Lab Press!

Creative Lab was born out of my many creative loves…stationery, letterpress, design, baking, flowers, crafts…and of course named after my giant chocolate lab. Who am I? I’m Bri Davey – a Montanan, living, creating and playing in beautiful Portland, Oregon.

I have been creating my whole life. It all started with googly-eyes, pipe cleaner and glue back in kindergarten. I still have my very first Santa Claus Christmas tree ornament made out of a paper towel roll! I was born to create. To make. To work with my hands. Whether putting extra special touches on a birthday gift, designing a quirky family holiday card, home baking a batch of buttery sweet sugar cookies, arranging a delightful bouquet of flowers for a friends wedding, or whipping up a hand sewn tote for the farmers market, it’s pretty simple: I love to create to beautiful projects from hand and make people smile. While I am happy to offer this wide-range of services to my clients, this website more specifically focuses on the many realms of stationery design (wedding, baby, holiday and everyday) and will soon showcase my own line of letterpress greeting cards!

For as long as I can remember I’ve been dreaming about having my own business. I am thankful and fortunate to be able to dive into my business whole-heartily and experience this adventure. Of course none of this would be possible without the support of my amazing friends and family, my incredible husband Scott and four-legged fellow, Jackson (yep, that’s right he’s the big guy in the logo)!

A self-taught creator {okay, okay…I gotta give my mom and gram a lot of credit}, I get all mushy talking about my next craft project or creative endeavor. I hope I can create a stunning letterpress business card or scrumptious set of holiday greeting cards for you soon!
