I am so fortunate to have crossed paths with a fabulous and fun couple from Fairbanks, Alaska this past spring. Classy and vintage was the request and I like to think I came pretty darn close to that. I hand drew the lily and played around with some traditional fonts to make this Save the Date design stand out in a crowd. Paired with the pine-colored envelope, the whole project came out pretty dreamy. I also obsessed over the packaging and wanted to make it extra special for the two love birds. This was my first big letterpress wedding print run and I am ready for more. Being at the press is satisfying, rewarding and fun, even after ink mixing catastrophe’s and wonky paper cutters! I am learning so much with each run…to the lovely couple: thanks for this great opportunity.
