As Oregon as it gets…
So ridiculously rad to be asked to create an invite suite for an Oregon bridal magazine. Hats off to local Portland caterer and event planner, Vibrant Table for so kindly asking me!
Here is what I came up with for the “modern industrial” wedding theme. The Oregon die-cut was a must and I included three options – one on maple veneer, one on recycled chip-board and one on super luxurious heavy weight cotton paper. With the thanks of my awesome husband we “customized” some screws that I then attached with some seriously sticky glue. My favorite is the screw that is on “Portland” on the Oregon state shape. The invite suite follows complete with corresponding vintage stamps found on Etsy with green tree images. The suite gets all tied up with a big fancy bow with the chocolate bar wrappers I fit around an Oregon made chocolate bar (Dagoba – YUM!). The wrapper is again a die-cut shape of Oregon with 2-color letterpress.
I was pretty happy with the end result – everything coordinates and the chartreuse and grey are truly hip and I would say quite “modern industrial.” I am excited to be able to offer this product to brides in 2013! I’ll be sure to update when the mag comes out – I can hardly wait! Update: The 2013 Spring issue of Oregon Bride is out! Hoping to post an image soon!
